Story

We were in love no matter what happened. We thought it would last forever.
But after a while, the time we spend together began to feel dull.
What happened to our happiness?
The love for you, my emotions, and even myself are fading away... I'm losing myself...

When Junichi Naruse woke up from a coma, he was in bed in a hospital. He was surrounded by doctors and nurses, but he had no idea why he was there. He didn't know what injuries he had. His doctor, Doumoto tells him, "The whole world wishes for your quick recovery." but this meant nothing to him at this point.

As he repeatedly slept and woke up, Junichi's memory begins to come back.
The memory was of his girlfriend Megumi Hamura. An old painting material shop where met for the first time. Light green dress she wore when they went on a date by the lake. The egg sandwich that she made. The desire to draw her on canvas in perfect happiness. The first time he touched her soft skin in the dim candle light.

Treatment of Junichi continued. There was also counseling by cool and beautiful Tachibana, an assistant of Doumoto. Yet, Junichi wanted to see Megumi as soon as possible. One night, he wakes up from a nightmare feeling that he isn't himself. That night, he finds a specimen of two human brains in the analytical room. And one of them was labeled "JN". Junichi asks Doumoto about his surgery, and he tells him that it was the first brain transplant ever performed. Of course, the whole brain wasn't transplanted. Only the part which was damaged was replaced by that of another person. The possibility of it's success was said to be one in a hundred thousand.
